Coller's Maple has been a family run business for 70 years. Greg is the third generation Coller along with his dad, Eugene, to carry on the family tradition. Eugene's parents, Floyd and Wava Coller, tapped the first maple tree in 1944. Floyd used horses to haul the sap out of the woods for many years. When Floyd could no longer make syrup, Eugene and his wife, Barb, took over the business growing it to 2300 taps with the help of their 10 children.
Today, Greg and his wife, Heather, are working along side his parents to grow the business further. We are currently at 7000 taps. For us, making pure maple syrup isn't just a business; it's a family tradition!
